            Basketball Preview: Parkway West HOYAS vs. Overbrook Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            The Parkway West HOYAS will head out on the road to  take on  the Overbrook Panthers  at 3:15  p.m.  on Friday. Given that  both  suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  game.
Last Wednesday, Parkway West ended up a good deal behind Thomas A. Edison and lost  57-41.

 The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was  Kemba Brown, who  posted 17 points. Her afternoon made it four games in a row in which  she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mariyah Davis, who  had 15  points.
 Meanwhile, Overbrook is still winless after their  contest against John Bartram  on Monday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two  points away from ending the streak, but they lost a  49-47 heartbreaker at the hands of the Braves. One positive for the Panthers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
 Overbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Parkway West, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record  this season.
 Parkway West took their  victory against Overbrook  when the teams last played  back in December of 2023 by a conclusive  50-27. Does  Parkway West have another victory up their sleeve, or will Overbrook turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
