Soccer Recap: Eastside Takes a Loss

Eastside lost to Quartz Hill back in December of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions lost 6-1 to the Royals. While losing is never fun, Eastside can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 950th, while Quartz Hill are ranked 150th).

Eastside's goal came courtesy of Natalie Barajas, which was the first she's scored this season.

Eastside is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10-3. As for Quartz Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3-2 record this season.

Eastside has already played their next match, a 6-2 win against Palmdale on the 2nd. As for Quartz Hill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 6-0 victory against Antelope Valley on the 2nd.
