Softball Recap: New Bloomfield Starts Season with Loss at Home

New Bloomfield unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Father Tolton by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with Father Tolton recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Looking ahead, New Bloomfield will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Fayette at 5:00 p.m. As for Father Tolton, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hickman at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th.
