After a string of three wins, Mendocino's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They were dealt a 52-18 loss at the hands of the Grace Christian Academy Lions. The contest marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Mendocino's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-5. As for Grace Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Mendocino will look to defend their home court on Friday against Tomales at 3:30 p.m. As for Grace Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Point Arena at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
