Soccer Game Preview: Fontana vs. Eisenhower

The Fontana Steelers are taking a road trip to take on the Eisenhower Eagles at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Fontana's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Fontana is headed into the contest without a loss and will look to keep things rolling. Neither they nor San Gorgonio could gain the upper hand on Wednesday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Steelers have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2024.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Eisenhower's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Jurupa Hills on Wednesday.

Eisenhower has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. Fontana's draw gives them a new season record of 9-0-6.

Fontana might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from Eisenhower in their previous meeting back in January of 2022. Can Fontana avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
