Verdugo Hills extended their postseason success on Saturday against George Washington Prep. They came out on top against the George Washington Prep Generals by a score of 50-43. Winning may never get old, but the Dons sure are getting used to it with their 11th in a row.

Verdugo Hills found their leader in sophomore Amiyya Castanos, who went 11-for-25 to rack up 27 points and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Castanos has scored at least a third of Verdugo Hills' points. Another player making a difference was Elaine Oh, who posted eight points and six assists.

Verdugo Hills' victory bumped their record up to 25-6. As for George Washington Prep, they moved to 22-6 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Verdugo Hills nor George Washington Prep have any future games scheduled.
