Lincoln North Star and Fremont are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2021, but not for long. The Navigators will challenge the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lincoln North Star will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Lincoln North Star saw some tournament action on Monday. They put the hurt on Lincoln East with a sharp 3-0 win.

Lincoln North Star never let Lincoln East on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15, 25-23.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Fremont duked it out with Kearney on Monday. The Tigers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bearcats. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Bearcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

While Fremont might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Kearney scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 18-25, 25-18.

Fremont's victory bumped their record up to 17-12. As for Lincoln North Star, their win bumped their record up to 26-4.

Lincoln North Star beat Fremont 2-0 when the teams last played back in September. Will the Navigators repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
