Soccer Game Preview: Washington Union vs. Kingsburg

Washington Union is 0-4 against Kingsburg since December of 2015 but things could change on Wednesday. The Washington Union Panthers will be playing at home against the Kingsburg Vikings at 6:00 p.m.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Washington Union turned things around against Hanford West on Friday. Neither they nor the Huskies could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. While a more conclusive result would've been nice, the Panthers got plenty of practice considering the match was the highest-scoring draw the team's played all season.

Meanwhile, Kingsburg kept a clean sheet against Exeter on Friday. They came out on top against the Monarchs by a score of 2-0. The result kept the Vikings happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 9th.

Maddie Essegian was the driving force of Kingsburg's attack as she scored both of Kingsburg's goals, bringing her season total up to three goals.

Washington Union's draw makes their record 5-14-5 this season. As for Kingsburg, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10-4.
