Soccer Game Preview: South Paulding vs. Rome

South Paulding is 0-3 against Rome since February of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The South Paulding Spartans will host the Rome Wolves at 8:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.

South Paulding is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They put the hurt on Pepperell with a sharp 6-1 win on Tuesday. With the Spartans ahead 3-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Rome kept a clean sheet against Coosa on Friday. Everything went their way against the Eagles as they made off with a 5-0 victory. Wolves haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

The victory made it two in a row for South Paulding and bumps their season record up to 2-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two games. As for Rome, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
