Softball Recap: Warrensburg Takes a Loss

Warrensburg couldn't beat Belton on Wednesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the third inning. The Tigers lost 20-5 to the Pirates. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Aspen Osborn made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Johnson, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Warrensburg's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Belton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season.

Warrensburg will square off against Odessa at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Belton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
