Soccer Game Preview: Head-Royce vs. Bentley

The Head-Royce Jayhawks will square off against the Bentley Phoenix at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Head-Royce will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Head-Royce's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against St. Joseph Notre Dame as Head-Royce made off with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Jayhawks have won seven games by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Bentley's game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Making Waves Academy. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Phoenix.

Asha Adansi and Taylor Robinson scored all three of Bentley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Head-Royce pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Bentley, they are also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2-1 record this season.
