With a playoff win on the line, Moreno Valley rose to the challenge on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 61-40 margin over the Rancho Cucamonga Cougars. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Moreno Valley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bella Medina, who went 6-for-10 to rack up 15 points. Another player making a difference was Alaysha Mills, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards.

The win was the fifth in a row for Moreno Valley, bringing their record for this year to 23-6. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 40 points. As for Rancho Cucamonga, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-6.
