Lincoln put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 34-13 margin over the Pinkston Vikings. The Tigers pushed the score to 34-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Vikings cut but never quite recovered from.

Lincoln got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Emmanuel Holmes out in front who threw for 208 yards and four touchdowns on only 18 passes. Okeith Robinson was Holmes' top target, picking up 144 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Pinkston, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Lincoln and Pinkston will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Tigers see the field they'll take on Kimball at 7:15 p.m. on October 9. As for Pinkston, their break will end when they face Wilmer-Hutchins at 7:15 p.m. on October 9.
