Ellie Scheider was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and eight unearned) runs off six hits. Scheider was also big at the plate, firing off four doubles, two RBI, and one run while going 5-for-6.
