Soccer Recap: Placer Comes Up Short

Placer lost against Twelve Bridges back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Placer Hillmen fell just short of the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Hillmen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 272nd, while the Raging Rhinos are ranked 66th).

Placer's loss dropped their record down to 6-5-2. As for Twelve Bridges, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2-1.

Placer didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Yuba City on the 6th. As for Twelve Bridges, they have also already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against Roseville on the 6th.
