Football Game Preview: East Grand Forks Green Wave vs. Roseau Rams

East Grand Forks has gone a perfect 3-0 against Roseau recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Green Wave will look to defend their home field against the Rams at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

East Grand Forks is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Thief River Falls, posting a 41-14 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Roseau, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on Pelican Rapids with a sharp 50-30 victory on Thursday. The Rams not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 27, 2024 (when they won 40-6).

East Grand Forks' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.7 points on average over those games. As for Roseau, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Everything came up roses for East Grand Forks against Roseau when the teams last played back in October of 2022, as the team secured a 34-0 victory. Will the Green Wave repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
