Softball Preview: Brentwood War Eagles vs. Trinity Christian Crusaders

The Brentwood War Eagles will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Trinity Christian Crusaders at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Brentwood will be strutting in after a victory while Trinity Christian will be coming in after a loss.

Brentwood will bounce into Friday's game after beating Piedmont Academy, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The War Eagles never let the Cougars get on the board and left with a 15-0 win on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the War Eagles.

Skylee Duggan made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Duggan was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run.
