Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Atlantic). Everything went their way against the Kuemper Knights on Monday as they made off with an 18-2 win. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Atlantic's third in a row) raised their record to 14-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Kuemper, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8.

Atlantic didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-2 victory against Clarinda on the 17th. Kuemper has also already played their next contest (against Denison-Schleswig), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
