St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy entered their tilt with St. Bernard on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the St. Bernard Vikings 62-16. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, St. Bernard saw an underclassman step up: freshman Caylan Versher posted ten points.

St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy pushed their record up to 14-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.0 points per game. As for St. Bernard, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy will head out to challenge Mary Star of the Sea on Thursday. As for St. Bernard, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Paraclete at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
