Soccer Recap: Milan Takes a Loss

Milan managed to slip by Southwestern the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Indians came up short against the Rebels on Thursday, falling 7-0. Milan were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Southwestern apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Milan and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Southwestern, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-0-1.

Coming up, Milan will square off against Rising Sun at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Milan's defense better be ready for this one: Rising Sun have averaged an impressive 2.5 goals per game this season. As for Southwestern, they will take on Jac-Cen-Del at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Southwestern will be up against Jac-Cen-Del's rather soft defense (which has allowed five goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
