Baseball Game Preview: Brentwood War Eagles vs. Edmund Burke Academy Spartans

Brentwood is 2-8 against Edmund Burke Academy since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Brentwood War Eagles will be playing at home against the Edmund Burke Academy Spartans at 5:00 p.m. Brentwood is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

Brentwood came up short against John Milledge Academy on Tuesday, falling 8-2. The War Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Edmund Burke Academy pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Brentwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
