Cook and Pierce County squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Cook had to settle for second. They fell 3-0 to the Bears. The Hornets were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the three matches prior), but the Bears' pitchers proved too tough.
