Football Game Preview: Silverado Hawks vs. Barstow Aztecs + Official Tickets

Two dominant backs in Aumaurieon Bailey and Nicholas Gaoa are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Silverado Hawks will head out to take on the Barstow Aztecs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Silverado beat Adelanto 23-10. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 310th, while the Saints are ranked 655th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The critical scores for Silverado came from Cardell Evans, Bailey, and Brent Hubbard.

Silverado didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Leairr Shaw and Evans. Evans got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Barstow gave up the first points last Friday, but they didn't give up any more after. They enjoyed a cozy 21-7 victory over Victor Valley. The Aztecs haven't had any issues with the Jackrabbits recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Silverado now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Barstow, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-1.

Silverado couldn't quite get it done against Barstow in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 35-28. Can the Hawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
