Soccer Recap: Nevada Union Comes Up Short

Nevada Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Roseville Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Miners can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 496th, while the Tigers are ranked 82nd).

Nevada Union's loss dropped their record down to 4-6-4. As for Roseville, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0-1.

Nevada Union will head out to take on Yuba City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Roseville, they will welcome Twelve Bridges at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Twelve Bridges will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Roseville surely won't give up without a fight.
