Preview: Archbishop Ryan Raiders and Ragdolls vs. Springfield Cougars
The Archbishop Ryan Raiders and Ragdolls are on the road again on Sunday and play against the Springfield Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on December 17th. Archbishop Ryan has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Saturday, Archbishop Ryan was the victim of a tough 59-37 loss at the hands of Archbishop Spalding. While losing is never fun, Archbishop Ryan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 287th in Pennsylvania, while Archbishop Spalding is ranked 51st in Maryland).
Meanwhile, Springfield strolled past Harriton with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 46-32. 46 seems to be a good number for Springfield as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Archbishop Ryan's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Springfield, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.
