Softball Recap: Moore Lions vs. Tahlequah Tigers
Moore had lost three straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped down to 15-5 to make it four. They fell just short of the Tahlequah Tigers by a score of 6-5. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.
As for Tahlequah, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 22 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-3-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games.
