Softball Recap: Blair Takes Down Ranked Norris

Blair faced Norris in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Bears sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 victory over the Titans. This was a revenge game for the Bears: when they faced off against the Titans on Tuesday, they had to take a 11-10 loss.

London Larsen was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high.

Blair is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Norris, their record now sits at 10-5.

Coming up, Blair will face off against Ralston at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Bears' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Norris, they will challenge Elkhorn North at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
