Football Recap: Ulysses Takes a Loss

Ulysses and Rose Hill squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Ulysses had to settle for second. They lost 36-13 to the Rockets. Having soared to a lofty 50 points in the game before, the Tigers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Caden Ledesma threw for 233 yards and one touchdown. Preston Hittle was his top target, picking up 212 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Keedrin Jones produced another solid performance rushing for 155 yards and a pair of TDs for Rose Hill. Jones is also on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Kooper Dees did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 80 receiving yards.

Ulysses' defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Rose Hill, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

Ulysses does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rose Hill, they will square off against Wellington on Friday.
