Soccer Game Preview: Philo vs. John Glenn

Philo is 0-10 against John Glenn since September of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Electrics will head out on the road to face off against the Little Muskies at 7:00 p.m. Philo has given up an average of 6.1 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Philo is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to six goals on Saturday, they were much more limited against Tri-Valley on Tuesday. They lost 9-1 to the Scotties.

Meanwhile, for the first time since September 2nd, John Glenn was forced to settle for a draw on Thursday. They and Athens finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

John Glenn's draw gives them a new season record of 9-2-2. As for Philo, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-1.

Philo suffered a grim 7-0 defeat to John Glenn when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Electrics avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
