Mission San Jose is 9-1 against Newark Memorial since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The win made it two in a row for Mission San Jose and bumps their season record up to 12-12. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 16.5 points over those games. As for Newark Memorial, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.

Mission San Jose beat Newark Memorial 57-48 in their previous matchup back in January. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Baca, who put up 24 points.
