Baseball Recap: Hazen Comes Up Short

Hazen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 16-5 to the Peoples Academy Wolves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 9-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Hazen's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Peoples Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8.

Coming up, Hazen will challenge Bellows Free Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bullets have averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season. As for Peoples Academy, they will take on Montpelier at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
