Recap: Trinity Classical Academy Knights vs. Notre Dame (SO) Knights
The Trinity Classical Academy Knights and the Notre Dame (SO) Knights squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but sadly the Trinity Classical Academy Knights had to settle for second. They were the victim of a tough 69-45 loss at the hands of the Knights. It was the first time this season that Trinity Classical Academy let down their fans at home.
Amia Witt was her usual excellent self, scoring 27 points along with four steals for Notre Dame (SO). As a matter of fact, that's the most points Witt has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Raegan Davis, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Trinity Classical Academy's loss ended a 17-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 24-4. As for Notre Dame (SO), they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-12 record this season.
Trinity Classical Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Notre Dame (SO)'s road trip will continue as they head out to face South at 7:00 p.m. on February 10th. South will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Notre Dame (SO) surely won't give up without a fight.
