On Thursday Wesleyan's undefeated season almost came to an end. They skirted past the Mount Paran Christian Eagles 7-5. That's more bragging rights for the Wolves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Wesleyan's record is now 9-0. As for Mount Paran Christian, they moved to 6-4 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wesleyan will host Brookwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wolves 2, the Broncos 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Mount Paran Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Landmark Christian at 5:00 p.m. on September 9.
