Basketball Game Preview: Washington Eagles vs. Lowell Cardinals

Washington is 2-8 against Lowell since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Washington Eagles will challenge the Lowell Cardinals at 6:40 p.m. Washington has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Monday, Washington was fully in charge, breezing past The Academy - San Francisco 58-31. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-13.

Meanwhile, Lowell unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They fell to Tracy 47-42.

Washington has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Lowell, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.

Washington ended up a good deal behind Lowell in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, losing 46-27. Can Washington avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
