Basketball Recap: Holy Names Takes a Loss

Holy Names was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 77-11 loss at the hands of the Making Waves Academy Marlins. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Marlins this season, with their most recent defeat being a 50-21 loss back in January.

Holy Names' defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Making Waves Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

Holy Names does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Making Waves Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-21 win against Redwood Christian on the 15th.
