Keystone Oaks came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Charleroi Cougars with a sharp 59-35 win. The Golden Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 21 points or more this season.

Keystone Oaks' victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Charleroi, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Keystone Oaks Golden Eagles face off against the Brownsville Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Charleroi, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Waynesburg Central at 7:00 p.m. on January 13th.
