Wapsie Valley won the last time they faced Aplington-Parkersburg and things went their way on Thursday too. The Warriors came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 2-0.

Taylor Buhr paced Wapsie Valley's offense, picking up eight kills. Buhr got some help from Tessa Brunscheon and her 17 assists. Buhr also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Espyn Decker, each putting up two.

Wapsie Valley's victory bumped their record up to 21-12. As for Aplington-Parkersburg, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 18-8.

Wapsie Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Grundy Center on the 9th. As for Aplington-Parkersburg, they will host South Hardin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
