Soccer Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Wasco's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

On ThursdayShafter kept up with Wasco until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. Everything went the Wasco Tigers' way against the Shafter Generals as the Wasco Tigers made off with a 3-0 victory. The Tigers' winning goal came courtesy of Jayleen Aviles.

Wasco has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-7-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up three goals over those seven games. As for Shafter, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-3.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Wasco duke it out with the McFarland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wasco is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games. As for Shafter, they will be playing at home against Chavez at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
