Softball Recap: Dodge County Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Dodge County's offense. They lost 10-0 to the East Laurens Falcons on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost four in a row.

Dodge County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jimiah Burns, who went 2-for-3 with one triple.

Dodge County's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for East Laurens, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Dodge County is set to challenge their familiar foe Northeast at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, East Laurens will take on rival Jefferson County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
