Basketball Recap: Oakland Comes Up Short

Oakland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 64-34 loss at the hands of the Encinal Jets. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Oakland's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Encinal, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Oakland will take on Grant in a tournament on Thursday. Grant is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.8 points per game this season. As for Encinal, they will challenge Montgomery at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Montgomery will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Encinal surely won't give up without a fight.
