Soccer Game Preview: Fallbrook vs. Rancho Bernardo

The Fallbrook Warriors will take on the Rancho Bernardo Broncos at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Fallbrook is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Ramona just ended the team's six-match winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Rancho Bernardo came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Their defense stepped up to hand the Golden Eagles a 3-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Rancho Bernardo, who have now won six contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Rancho Bernardo's win bumped their record up to 10-6-1. As for Fallbrook, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 8-5-1.
