Basketball Recap: Prairie Farm Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Prairie Farm challenged Webster on Friday. The Panthers came up short against the Tigers, falling 42-19.

Webster can attribute much of their success to Avery Hetfeld, who posted eight points and eight steals. Those eight steals gave Hetfeld a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Reese Grindell, who put up seven points and five steals.

Prairie Farm's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Webster, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Prairie Farm will challenge rival Turtle Lake at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Webster is set to square off against their familiar foe Grantsburg at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
