Football Recap: West Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for West's offense. They took a blow against the Southeast Golden Buffalo on Friday, falling 53-0. The Pioneers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Colby Eck-Watkins threw for 62 yards on nine of 18 attempts. Lee Straughter was his top target, picking up 32 receiving yards.

West's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Southeast, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

West didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 41-8 defeat against South on the 24th. As for Southeast, they have also already played their next matchup, a 64-0 win against North on the 23rd.
