Basketball Recap: New Roads Takes a Loss

New Roads won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Wednesday. They were beaten by the California Academy of Math & Science Coyotes 58-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Coyotes: they've now lost five in a row.

New Roads now has a losing record at 4-5. As for California Academy of Math & Science, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.

New Roads will face off against Vistamar at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for California Academy of Math & Science, they will head out to face off against Lennox Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. California Academy of Math & Science is facing Lennox Academy at the right time seeing as Lennox Academy is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
