Volleyball Recap: Spring Comes Up Short

Spring was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Floresville Tigers/Jaguars.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-12.

Floresville found their leader in freshman Lailah Fuentes, who had nine assists and four aces.

Spring's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Floresville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Coincidentally, Spring and Floresville will both be playing Granbury the next time they take the court. The Tigers/Jaguars will head out to face the Pirates at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Lions will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
