Football Game Preview: Snow Hill Eagles vs. Kent County Trojans + How To Watch

The Snow Hill Eagles will venture away from home to take on the Kent County Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Snow Hill and 11 for Kent County dating back to last season.

On Friday, Snow Hill lost to Northampton at home by a 49-34 margin. While the Eagles had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Yellowjackets 14-7.

Snow Hill's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Dai'Jon Johnson, who rushed for 102 yards and three scores on only 12 carries, and Jaydon Boulware, who rushed for 101 yards and one touchdown on only six carries. Johnson has become a key player for the Eagles: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-4 otherwise.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Kent County's offense. They had to suffer through a 52-0 loss at the hands of Colonel Richardson.

Kent County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Snow Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Everything went Snow Hill's way against Kent County in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as Snow Hill made off with a 42-22 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
