Football Recap: Clay Center Tigers vs. Rock Creek Mustangs
After flying high against Chapman last Friday, Clay Center came back down to earth. The Tigers were dealt a 45-7 defeat at the hands of the Rock Creek Mustangs on Friday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 12, 2018, but that streak is no more.
Rock Creek was led to victory by Tate Smith and Zion Bell. Smith threw for 271 yards and two TDs while completing 80% of his passes, while Bell rushed for 110 yards and three scores.
