Basketball Recap: Riverbank Bruins vs. West Campus Warriors
It was fun while it lasted, but Riverbank's undefeated season came to an end after five games on Thursday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 54-53 to the West Campus Warriors. The loss was the Bruins' first of the season.

Despite the loss, Riverbank still got an impressive performance from Leilani Olanolan, who went 6 of 11 from beyond the arc en route to 27 points along with five assists and four steals. Olanolan's evening made it six games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabel Fernandez, who posted five points and six rebounds.
Even though they lost, Riverbank smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in five consecutive games.
