Marshall had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 40.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They blew past the Wilson Mules 41-18. The Barristers pushed the score to 34-9 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mules cut but never quite recovered from.

Marshall's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Wilson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Marshall will take on rival Lincoln at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wilson is set to square off against their familiar foe Bravo at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
