Recap: St. Francis Troubadours vs. Vista del Lago Eagles
The St. Francis Troubadours lost against the Vista del Lago Eagles back in December of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. St. Francis took a 64-50 bruising from Vista del Lago.
St. Francis' lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Sydney Teoh, who scored 21 points along with 6 assists and 5 steals. Teoh scored a full 42% of St. Francis' points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Bria McGahan was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Ursula Chen was a one-man wrecking crew for Vista del Lago as she scored 30 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Skrzyniarz, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds.
St. Francis' defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Vista del Lago, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
St. Francis will head out on the road to face off against Del Oro at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Vista del Lago is on the road again on Thursday and play against Pleasant Valley at 5:00 p.m. on November 30th.
